Mr. Brandon, son of Thomas Barry and Flora Virn (White) Brandon, was born April 4, 1935, in Jackson County, Alabama. He was a welder and worked on bridges, towers and industrials. Mr. Brandon loved to fish and his dog, Chico. He attended Twin Pines Pentecostal Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are four children; David Floyd Brandon, Thomas Vernon Brandon, Jr. and wife, Laurie, Lisa Ann Walker and husband, Lesley, all of Huntsville, Alabama, and Johnny Clay Brandon of Madison, Alabama; one sister, Bennie Kay Buckner of Gainesville, Florida; three brothers, Bruce Brandon of Doniphan, Missouri, Marvin Brandon of Portageville, Missouri, and John Flynn of Birmingham, Alabama; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Pearline Taylor and Martha Cornelison.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
