Eula Mae Cumming, 72, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011, in Houston, TX.

Eula was born in Louisiana on August 21, 1938 to Oris and Etha Thibodeaux. She was a lifelong resident of this area after moving here when she was 9 years old. She had worked for the Port Neches, Groves ISD in the cafeteria, for C & B Services and Esther's Seafood & Oyster Bar. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She loved her family dearly. She also enjoyed cooking and having visitors over to see her.

Eula was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald J. Borel and E.E. Cumming; a daughter, Barbara Lee; a brother, Nolan Thibodeaux and her parents.

Her survivors include a son, Britt Borel and wife Kalista of Houston; a daughter, Lisa Lowery and husband Joe of Groves; brother, Ophie Thibodeaux of Brenham, TX; 2 sisters, Esther Benoit and husband John of Port Arthur, Janette Duke of Port Arthur and 3 grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 5 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
