Brenda Sue Ratliff, 52, of Marble Falls died Feb. 21. Born June 8, 1958 in Victoria, Texas, Brenda was the daughter of William Henry and Angelina Sophia (Smith) Harvell.

Brenda graduated from Bloomington High School in 1976 and married Ronnie Ratliff Sr the day after graduation. She was a secretary for Special Services at Marble Falls ISD. Brenda fought a long and hard battle with cancer and touched the lives of so many people with her positive faith and attitude.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Ratliff, Jr and girlfriend, Katie Mein; daughter and son-in-law Merriane and David Palasky; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Ashley Ratliff-Ortega and Nick Ortega; great grandson, Alec Ortega, sisters and brothers-in-laws, Liz and J.W. Ratliff and Linda and Brad Yusko, brother and sister-in-law Billy and Delores Harvell; brothers Mike Harvell and Danny Harvell; mother-in-law Eula Mae Ratliff; sisters-in-law Barbara Copeland and Becky Heinemann; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Peggy and Don Martin and brother-in-law Gary Ratliff, and grandson, Anthony Palasky. Brenda is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives and a host of good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law Winifred Ratliff and her husband Ronnie Ratliff Sr in December 2008.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service was Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Max Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Six-Mile Cemetery in Llano.

Pallbearers are Jess Ratliff, Jamie Ratliff, Duane Yusko, John Aaron Yusko, Kevin Martin and Shane Nelson.
