Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Ratliff, 57, of Granite Shoals died Monday, Dec. 29.
Born Nov. 15, 1951, in Marble Falls, Ronnie was the son of Winifred Floyd and Eula Mae (Pabst) Ratliff.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Ratliff; son, Ronnie Jr; daughters, Merriane Lea Palasky and husband David and Vonda Kaye Zimmerman and husband David; mother, Eula Mae Ratliff; brothers, Gary Ratliff and wife Betty, J.W. Ratliff and wife Liz; sisters, Barbara Copeland, Rebecca Heinemann and Al Lukes, and Peggy Martin and husband Don; brothers-in law, Billy Harvell and wife Delores, Mike Harvell and Danny Harvell; and sister-in-law, Linda Yusko and husband Brad. Ronnie is also survived by three granddaughters, Ashley and husband Nick, Samantha and Alana; grandson, Anthony; one great-grandson, Alec; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and other relatives; and a host of close friends.
Ronnie was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, and a very good friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother-in-law, Jerry Copeland; and nieces, Ann Copeland and Jennifer Martin.
Funeral services are Thursday, Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Chapel, with Max Copeland and Steve Peace officiating. Interment will follow at Six-Mile Cemetery in Llano. Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers are Jess Ratliff, Jamie Ratliff, Randy Garner, Mike Garner, Duane Yusko and John Aaron Yusko.
