Perry was born June 19, 1935, in Weston, Idaho, to Alfred and Ethel Jensen. The family moved to Twin Falls in 1950, where he graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1953. Perry worked in the family business until joining the U.S. Army, where he served for two years. After returning to Twin Falls, he married the love of his life, Patricia Tverdy, on Dec. 29, 1962, and they started their family. Perry worked for many years in the construction business in the Twin Falls area as a carpenter building many homes and landmarks in the valley. He also worked abroad for the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia, from 1989 to 1991. After retiring in 1997, Perry loved golfing and fishing with his lifelong friend, Richard Stockard. His real joy was spending time with family and grandchildren camping, playing pinochle or just being together for any occasion.
Perry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia; and five children, Michael (Leslie) Jensen, Paul (Heather) Jensen, James (Susan) Jensen, Susan (John) Copen and Theresa Jensen. He dearly loved his 12 grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Savannah, Andrew, Joshua, Nikkayla, Hailey, Madison, Ashley, Noah, Emily and Symanthia. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Strickland. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Reed, Dale and Keith Jensen.
Our beloved husband, father and grandpa was a kind, gentle man who left us too soon but will always be in our hearts forever.
