Son of Alfred Leonard Jensen and Ethel May Jacobson

Husband of Marilyn Call

Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, Dale Delin Jensen, died on March 8, 1996, while vacationing in Mesa, Arizona, after a valiant struggle with heart disease. He was surrounded by his sweetheart of 48 years and his loving children.
He was born February 7, 1928, in Weston, Idaho, to Alfred and Ethel Jensen. He married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Call, March 3, 1948; later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on October 14, 1952.
He had a great love for his children and grandchildren. He spent many wonderful years enjoying the outdoors, coaching youth and attending sporting events with his family. His unconditional love for his family, people and life in general was unmatched.
He was an active member of the LDS Church who faithfully served in many callings, including bishop, two bishoprics, high priest group leader and many treasured years working with the youth. He spent several years as a guide on Temple Square spreading the gospel that he so loved and cherished.
He graduated from Westside High School in Clifton, Idaho, in 1947, where he served as Student Body President, 1946-47. He spent 10 years working with Albertson's as a store manager, joined Associated Foods Stores in 1966 and later achieved the position of Director of Sales.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; and seven children, Dalene Fornelius, Darrell (Cory) Jensen, Linda (Chuck) Boodman, David (Julie) Jensen, Mark (Rhonda) Jensen, Mary Ann (Don) Walker, Diane (Kenny) Nye; 19 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers, Reed and Perry; and sister, Carol.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Keith.
