Cooper Review-Feb. 2, 1984-Mrs. Emma Harvey, a former resident of Lake Creek, passed away Saturday, January 28, in Texas City. Graveside services were held at 3PM Monday, January 30, at Lake Creek Cemetery with Rev. L.D. Ball of Greenville officiating. Internment was made under the direction of Delta Funeral Home. Mrs. Harvey was born August 16, 1928, in Boswell, Oklahoma, a daughter of Earl and Carrie (Farmer) Watkins. She was a resident of Galveston. Survivors include a son, Eddie Harvey of Galveston; five brothers, Redford Watkins of Broken Bow, OKlahoma, Billy Watkins of Enumclaw, Washington, Austin Watkins of Idabel, Oklahoma, Curtis Watkins of Red Springs and A.C. Watkins of Dallas; six sisters, Gladys Eubanks of Wolf City, Idell Hallman of Hugo, Oklahoma, Myrl York, Ruth Shimek and Gerldine Hannabass, all of Dallas and Mildredge Peacock of El Mirage, Arizona.
