================================
On his WW2 registration, note he was employed at Studebaker. If in their employ, one was required to own that brand of automobile. Uncle Milo had a Ford; he parked many blocks away and walked to the plant so he wouldn't get fired.
Great Uncle Milo loved road trips and frequently visited the South Dakota Gebhards as well as stopping in
Duluth, MN to visit his nephew Elmer Gebhard, his older brother Louis' son.
In later life he was so hunched over he walked with two canes. While visiting us in Wecota he had trouble
getting up the 3 steps from the back door to the kitchen. Dad screwed a large black iron handle to the wall
to assist his ascent. It also came in handy for Dad as he aged. It was still there when Mom sold the house in 2017.
