This descendant of the John and Ann (___) Latimer family of early Wethersfield, Conn. erected this memorial in 2010 with the intent of providing a comprehensive sketch for the benefit of fellow descendants. Due to a period of inattention over the ensuing 11 years third-parties were able to modify the memorial claiming Ann's family name was Grimes. And, companion Wikipedia, Ancestry, FamilySearch, Geni, FamilySearch etal trees were created to support such claim. Unfortunately, no factual basis exists that Ann's family name was Grimes.
