Frank worked for various employers including the Austin White Lime Company, Camp Mabry and the University of Texas Balcones Research Center. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, working on trainer aircraft in Kansas. Frank was a man of simple pleasures and enjoyed motorcycles and airplanes. He could recognize a Harley or a Stearman by its sound. He liked Dominos and Forty-two games, good company, good food, children and animals, especially cats.
Frank and Lisette were charter members of Grace Lutheran Church in Roundrock.
