Fred was born on October 25,1901 in Burnet County, Texas at Council Creek. His parents were Fred and Annie Bressler Hunziker. His first marriage was to Susie Pabst on June 17, 1922. After her death in 1928 he married Dollie Caddel on June 30, 1930. Fred was well known in Burnet and surrounding counties for his professional concrete work. He was a member of the Plasters and Cement Finishers International Association as well as a member of the Pentecostal Church.
