Mrs. Naomi Jane Bolinger, a highly respected resident of Wood, died at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, December 22, 1948, at the Nason Hospital in Roaring Spring. She was born in Huntingdon County on April 17, 1891, a daughter of Andrew and Jane (Waite) Nead. Her husband Martin Bolinger, died on April 17, 1935. These sons and one daughter survive: Ernest, Wood; Grover, Six Mile Run; Roy, Wood; Dale, U.S. Army, and Mrs. Harry Rosenberry of Shippensburg. Also surviving are three brothers: Cyrus Nead, Three Springs R.D.; William, Saltillo, and Harry, Waterstreet. The funeral service will be at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday, afternoon in the Center Methodist Church at Waterfall R.D. The Rev. O. R. Williams will officiate. Interment will be made in the Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of her son, Ernest, in Wood after three o'clock on Friday afternoon. Huff's funeral service.
