Sylva Sawyer Wilder, 87, died Sunday in the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell where she had been a patient for several weeks. She was born November 17, 1894 in Hatch, Utah, the daughter of Levi and Rhoana Sawyer. She married George Stokes Wilder July 14, 1919 in Billings, Montana. They have made their home in Lovell for many years. Mr. Wilder died in 1962.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathryn Lind of Globe, Arizona; one brother, Merlin of Mesa, Arizona; three sisters, Ireta S. Mills of Worland, Wyoming, Venessa Gibson of Greeley, Colorado, and Delpha Orcutt of Souix Falls, South Dakota; 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovell, Wyoming Stake LDS Chapel with Bishop Douglas Savage officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell was in charge of arrangements.
