Newell Gleaves "Sandy" Danner Sr., 46, of Route 2, Dublin, died late Sunday afternoon in the Pulaski Community Hospital.
He was born in Max Meadows, Feb. 17, 1934 and was the son of the late Fredrick Danner.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Kent Hale Danner; one daughter, Sandra Kent Danner, at home; two sons, Newell G. Danner Jr. and Fredrick Reed Danner, both at home; his
mother, Mrs. Lillie Collins Lawson, Woodlawn, and one granddaughter.
The funeral will was held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from the New Dublin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John K. Boyd officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Heart Fund.
Visiting will be today [Monday, March 3, 1980] at Stevens and the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
