Agnes was born on a farm near Ridgley the daughter of Edward & Frances Winter Baechler. The family moved to Elgin, NE where Agnes attended St. Boniface School. In 1929 they moved to Sleepy Eye, MN. On June 24, 1930 she and Herman Zemler were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Following their marriage, they lived on a farm near Sleepy Eye for a year and then moved to a farm near Fulda, MN where they raised their family of eleven children. Herman passed away on January 24, 1973. Ag continued living on the farm with her son, Fred. Due to failing health, Ag became a resident of Maple Lawn Nursing Home in 1992. Ag passed away at the Worthington Regional Hospital. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda and honorary member of W.C.C.W. and Altar Society. She belonged to the Murray County Extension Bondin Leisure Club. Her favorite pastimes included playing cards, fishing, baking bread, gardening, & sewing. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Herman & Agnes are the parents of Edwin (Elaine) Zemler, Joan (Herb) Remiger, Fred (Diane) Zemler, Tom (Geraldine) Zemler, Sr. Rosemary Zemler, Jim (Jini) Zemler, Rita (Dale) Bunkers, Barb (Roger) Bunkers, Richard (Irene) Zemler, Donald (Marsha) Zemler, & Margaret (Kevin) Heath.

Ag's siblings include Frances Jutz of New Ulm, MN; Anna Clarke of Macon, MO; & Lucille (Norman) Braun of Sleepy Eye, MN. Ag was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held March 30 from St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Msgr. Eugene Egan officiating.
