She attended Ball High School and spent over 25 years working at American National Insurance Company (ANICO), where she retired as a supervisor in the Actuary Department. Sue's greatest joys in life were her husband Robert, family, friends, and her grandchildren. She was happiest spending time with her sisters and friends, playing cards and taking trips. Over the years, Sue made many extended friendships through her association with the Giovanni Club and the Xochital Club.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Carmen Peralta; sister, Rosie Vasquez; and brother, Louis Peralta.
She is survived by her husband Robert Mendoza; children Rose Marie Mendoza, Bobby Mendoza and wife, Felicia; sisters Helen Luna, Gloria Peralta, and Hope Lopez; aunt Mary Alice Hults; grandchildren Sarah Philips, Hollie Mendoza, Rob Mendoza and Victoria Alba; great grandchildren Chloe and Camille; brothers-in-law Bunte Cavasos, and Rafael Mendoza and wife, Lela; sister-in-law, Adela Duran; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
