Annie Mae Davis was the oldest daughter of Anderson B. and Nina Hopkins Davis. She married Jesse Brown and they had a large family. They migrated west from Lincoln Parish, LA to Washington State. Most of her descendants now live in the great Northwest. Annie Mae walked daily in her faith of knowing Jesus Christ as her Lord. Memories of her telling me how to made apple butter and, since she had a green-thumb, how to grow certain flowers will stay with me forever. My sweet memories of a special lady will last forever. By a month, she missed the honor of being on the label of one of Willard Scott's jam jars! She was looking forward to that!

Children to this union:

Katherine Brown b. 8 July 1921
Beatrice Brown born 27 Dec 1923
Patrica Brown born Feb 1925 Married Mr. Britton
Melba Brown born March 1927 married Mr. Baid
Pauline Brown born Jany 1929 married Jack Harshfield
James Lee Brown "Bud" born Jan 30, 1931 married Joann and had three sons.
Betty Brown 16 Feb 1933 married Charles Walker
Eulon Brown born 24 March 1935 married Louise
Glenda Brown born 24 Feb 1939 died 11 January 1996 married Charles Goings
