Graveside services with Masonic rites were held in the Houston Cemetery Sunday at 4 pm for James Bradley Dalton, 89, of Water Valley.

Funeral services were held in the Henry Funeral Home in Water Valley at 2 pm Sunday with the Rev. S J Hull officiating. Pallbearers were James Dalton, T E Dalton, Ed Shearer, III, Paul Shearer, Tommy Shearer, David Chisolm and George Sart.

He died in his daughter's home, Mrs. Edward Shearer of Water Valley, following an illness of several weeks.

Mr. Dalton, a retired millwright, had lived in Water Valley for 22 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Berry Dalton; two sons, Lionel B Dalton of Memphis, Tenn., and Thomas Henry Dalton of Eupora; three stepsons, Herman Berry and Clyde Berry of Houston and James Berry of Hernando, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Edward B Shearer of Water Valley; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret DeLawter of St. Louis, Mo. And Mrs. Laura Box of Houlka; one sister, Mrs. Annie Norris of Jackson, Miss., nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
