BELTON --- Claudie Shoumaker, 87, of Little River died Thursday, Oct. 16, in a Temple nursing home.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton.
Mrs. Shoumaker was born June 9, 1921, to Luther and Odie Hammack in Franklin County, Miss. She worked for many years as a nurse's aid in Bossier City, La. She was Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by four children.
Survivors include two sons, Luther Shoumaker of Little River and J.C. Wilkinson of Houston; a daughter, Odie Wallace of Jacksonville; a brother, Joe Hammack of Louisiana; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
