Kathleen L. Snow, 73, of Springfield died Wednesday at the VA Medical Center in Danville. She was born June 1, 1924, in Springfield, the daughter of Andrew and Catherine Herman Danner. She married Phillip Snow in 1947; he preceded her in death in 1966.

Mrs. Snow, a lifelong resident of Springfield, was employed as an LPN at Doctors Hospital and as a podiatrist. She was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of DAV Hall Hagler Chapter 15, Sangamon County WAVES Association, American Legion Post, Navy Club and Lalla Rookh 218 OES.


Survivors: two sons, Raleigh P. and Fred Snow, both of Springfield; two grandchildren; five sisters, Frances Jackson, Mabel Croutcher and Evelyn Lazar, all of Springfield, and Beulah Szabo and Phyllis Dorworth, both of Girard; two brothers, Louis Danner of Springfield and Ernest Danner of Waynesville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services: Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. E.R. Hellyer officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
