June CLARK, 79, died at 3:25 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at the Franklin Skilled Care Unit in Benton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, in the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, with Pastor Leland WIDICK officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday to the funeral home.
Mrs. CLARK was born in Macedonia on Nov. 11, 1921, the daughter of Glan and Florence (WYRICK) OVERTURF. She married
Everett E. CLARK on Nov. 14, 1937, in Macedonia. He survives. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was a devoted and faithful member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Everett, three sons, Morris CLARK and wife Karan of Macedonia, Terry CLARK and wife Judy of West Frankfort, David CLARK and wife Kathy of Macedonia; seven grandchildren, Chuck CLARK of Energy, Danny CLARK and wife Lisa Kay, Adam CLARK, Sami CLARK, all of Macedonia, Tabitha MILLER and husband Drake of Benton, Tamara WILLMORE and husband Allan of Carterville, Kristen CLARK of West Frankfort; five great-grandchildren, Lucas and Marah WILLMORE of Carterville, Ramsey Lee CLARK of Macedonia, Blane MILLER and MaKennah MILLER of Benton. Mrs. CLARK was preceded in death by her parents, by one brother, Glan "Bud" OVERTURF and by an infant sister, Roberta.
