“Ted E. Cool, 75, 215 Foster Dr., Attica, a former Muncie resident, died in South Fulton Medical Center, Atlanta, Georgia, Saturday, September 27, 1997. He was born March 4, 1922 in Angola. He married Jancie Buller in 1952. She survives.

He had lived in Muncie until 1995 when they moved to Attica. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School, earned his bachelor of science degree from Findley College, Findley, Ohio; and his master of art from Ball State University, Muncie. He was a veteran of World War II. He taught school in Eaton and Selma in Delaware County.

He was a member of Attica United Methodist Church, Dunkirk Elks, Muncie Moose Lodge #33, Delaware Masonic Lodge #46 F.&A.M., Attica Eagles, Attica VFW and American Legion, Odgen, Kansas.

Surviving, besides the wife, are: a daughter, Lee Ann (Richard) Morgan, Attica; and a brother, Kenneth (Dorothy) Cool, Angola. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Cool, Donald Cool, D.O. Cool, Henry Cool, and four sisters, Margaret Little, Gertrude Sams, Ruth Wilson, and Elizabeth Kelly.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, Eaton, with the Rev. Jeffrey Newton officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Eaton. Military rites were given by military organizations of Delaware County. Memorial may be made to Ball Memorial Hospital, Rehabilitation Fund, 2401 W.
