In 1884 they moved to Kansas, where she spent her declining years.
She leaves her husband, three children, L.O. Matthews, Barrett, Kansas, O.J. Matthews, Omaha, Nebraska and Ada Price, Stratton, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held at Barrett on Saturday with Reverend Scott officiating.
