Mrs. Chloe Jane Dell died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 1958, at home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Querry, Mapleton Depot, RD. She had been an invalid for 21 years.
She was born January 21, 1888, Smith Valley, Mapleton Depot, a daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Park) Chilcote. She was married to Albert M Dell on December 19, 1906. Mr Dell preceded her in death March 16, 1954.
Mrs. Dell is survived by daughter Mrs. Charles (Rosetta) Querry, and one son, Albert Dell, both of Hares Valley, Mapleton RD. There are two grandchildren, Robert Querry, Mapleton RD, and Ronald Dell, Beckley, WV, and two great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Mary E Dell of Mapleton Depot also survives.
She was a member of the Beech Run Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Dell was a pianist and Sunday School teacher at the church as long as her health permitted. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m., at the Beech Run Church of the Brethren. The Rev Raymond Smith, pastor of the church and the Rev Robert Jones of New Paris, will officiate. Interment will be made in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at Green's funeral home in Huntingdon from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. this evening and at the Charles Querry home at Hares Valley from noon on Friday until noon on Saturday and at the church from 1 p.m. until the time for the service.
