Eleanor Anne Dalton Vance, age 92 of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Anne retired from St Mary's Medical Center business office after more than 20 years. One of her passions was gardening, and she could never remove any new tree sapling. Her home is quite an oasis of trees. She traveled extensively with her husband accompanied by sister and brother-in-law Betty and Bob Moore. Anne also loved traveling with "the girls," daughters Donna and Jamie with Betty Moore. So many treasured memories were made with each adventure. How she loved to shop! Every trip or just a day at home necessitated a shopping trip. Most importantly, she loved being a mother and enjoyed all family activities, celebrations and annual beach trips. Anne had a special love for her grandson Mark and her granddaughter Emily.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy Dalton, mother Nellie Mae Kidd Dalton, several brothers and sisters, nephew Mark Vance Moore and granddaughter Emily Ann McGaha.

She is survived by her daughters Donna McGaha and Jim Lawler, Jamie and Stan Pozega, grandson Mark Franklin Pozega, brothers and sisters Ella Prock, Margie Pipes, Richard Dalton and Charles and Barbara Dalton, several nieces and nephews, and Betty Vance Moore of Roanoke, VA, nephew Michael Moore and his family Lisa, Annabelle, Penley and Miriam

Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 12:45PM for a 1:00PM Graveside Service Online condolences may be made at www.mynattfh.com
