"Foster Telford of Delancey, aged 73 years, passed away Saturday, Nov 30, 1935 after a 3-day illness. He was born 29Jan1862 in Bellingham, England. He came to America in June 1889. On Oct 21, 1891 he married Ella Frisbee of Andes, NY. They have spent all the married life in Delaware County, living 33 years on their present farm on Bailey Brook. Foster was a true husband and kind father. hew was a quiet man with high ideals, clean morals, good habits and desired only the best for his community. He was always a home loving man and his greatest pleasure was to have his children and grandchildren home together. there are three surviving children: a son Ray B. Telford of Walton, and two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Utter of Delancey and Mrs. Bertha Oles of Middletown, also nine grandchildren. He leaves four sisters and two brothers: Miss Belle Telford of Cornwall, Miss Margaret Telford and Mrs. Thomas Elliot of Andes, Mrs. Myron McKee of Delhi, William Telford of Walton, and Edward Telford of Wilmington, DE. The funeral was held at this late home on Tuesday. Rev Adams, pastor of the M.E.church of Delhi, of which he had been a faithful member for 20 years, officiated. Burial was made in the family plot at Andes.
