Nicky was born on April 24, 1967 to Dominick and Carmela (Del Vecchio) Francischelli and attended St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol. He was an ardent learner and furthered his education at Quinnipiac University where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. For the past 15 years, he was employed with ADP as an Account Manager, serving clients around the globe. In recent years, he additionally selflessly acted as primary caregiver to his mother.
Nicky will be remembered for so many things including his adventurous spirit, kind heart, generous nature and love of gardening and cooking. His made-from-scratch cheesecake was enjoyed at many a family gathering. He cultivated some of the tastiest tomatoes and hot peppers and readily shared the harvest and homemade salsa and hot sauce with family and friends.
Nicky was predeceased by his father and brother George. Besides his mother, he leaves his brothers Bruce and his wife Betsy of Burlington, CT, David and his wife Lynn of Minnesota, Paul and his wife Maria of Southington, a sister Dawn McKnerney and her husband Paul of Southington as well as six nephews and nieces, sister-in-law, Maryann Francischelli of Madison and many extended relatives and close friends to help carry on his legacy.
