Patrick Donovan, an old and respected resident of this town, died of heart failure at his home in Bakers Lane, Tuesday at the advanced age of 87 years. The deceased was born in Ireland but when quite young moved to this country and has been a resident of this town for the past 56 years. His trade was that of a stone mason, but of late years he did not do much in this line. He owned considerable real estate, most of which is located in this place. He leaves to mourn his loss two daughters, Mrs. Mary McManus and Miss Kate Donovan and two sons, John J. Donovan and Dennis Donovan all of them being in town. The funeral services will be held Friday morning at St. Augustine's church. Rev. D. J. O'Mahoney officiating. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
