The two little children- lmogene and Theo.- were the daughters of the late E. B. Apperson, who was reared in this city and who moved to West Virginia about twelve years ago, and was married later to Miss Hemmings. Mr. Apperson died in West Virginia last December. His only relatives here are Miss Mary A. Apperson, and Mrs. Allen, of No. 209 west Grace street, who are his sisters. These ladies received a telegram from Mr. George Neal, a lawyer, of Huntington, W. Va. yesterday morning, telling them of the drowning. Mr. Neal was, a friend of their brother, who as stated, died last December. Mr. E. B. Apperson and the ladies mentioned are children of Mr. E. B. W. Apperson, who died in this city several years ago.
