Services for William Joseph Aaron Slaton, 74, were at 2 p.m. today from Mt. Pisgah Baptisf. Church with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Rev. Jimmy Duke and Rev. Buford Sellers officiating. Williams and Lord Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Slaton died Sunday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital following a short illness. A 12-year resident of Greenwood, he was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Mann Slaton of Greenwood; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Overton of Hurricane, W. Va., Mrs. John Williams of Grenada, Mrs. Ray Ugolina of Greenville and Mrs. Fred Evans of Boyle; four sons, Marvin Slaton, Paul Slaton, Bud Slaton and Bobby Slaton of Greenwood and a sister, Mrs. Art Mullins of Harrisville.

Pallbearers will be E. C. Wiggins, James Larry Wiggins, Kenny Wiggins, Herman Wiggins, Thomas Wiggins and Erby Montgomery.
