Death Summons Mrs. Bertha Kaefer
Mrs. Bertha La Tour Kaefer, well known resident of this city, died at the home of her son, Louis, 513 Kaufmann avenue, yesterday evening at 8 o'clock. She was born February 9, 1853, in Canada and leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Mrs. J. Spahn; a son, Louis, of Dubuque; also two brothers, Fred LaTour, of Bessner, Ala., and Louis LaTour, of Dubuque. Being a Catholic and a member of St. Patrick's church, Mrs. Kaefer passed away comforted by the last rites of that religion.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the Spahn residence, 513 Kaufman avenue, to St. Patrick's church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Calvary.
