Johnnie Kenneth Eason was born to Virgle and Mary Eason 11/21/1930 in Lubbock, Texas and died December 21, 2022 in Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of 92.

Kenneth married Jean Lewis June 16, 1950. They were married 66 years at the time of Jean's death. They lived in the Countyline and Velma area all of their lives. Kenneth drove a tank truck for years in the oil field of Southern Oklahoma and became owner of S & W Transports. He retired in 1993.

His passion in life was working and picking up trash. He loved to drive. He drove everything from a tractor to a golf cart to a 4-wheeler to a riding lawn mower and proceeded to run over, scratch, wreck and dent all of the above.

Survived by:
Daughter, Gaylin Langhofer, Wichita, Kansas; Sons: Dwayne Eason, Sulphur, Oklahoma, and KD (Caren) Eason, Velma, Oklahoma; Son-in-law, Brad Shepherd, Duncan, Oklahoma; Sister, Margie Madole, Norman, Oklahoma; Brother, Robert Eason, California; and special friends, Jerry and Sue Strickland, Velma, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren:
Dawn Lang (Jason), Tammi O'Steen (Brad), Drew Langhofer (Heather), Rodney Eason (Mandi), Brad Eason (Allison), Kendra Smith (Blake), Trey Eason (Tiffany).

Great Grandchildren:
McKenzi O'Steen Knowles, Chesni O'Steen, Bradi O'Steen, Kolin Smith, Parker Smith, Gabby Smith, Paisley Eason, Landry Eason, Abby Eason, Natalie Langhofer, Stella Langhofer, Thea Eason, Tinley Eason.

Preceded in death:
Parents, Virgle and Mary Eason; Wife, Jean Eason; Daughter, Brenda "Bebe" Shepherd; Brothers: Calvin Eason, Eugene Eason; and Sister, Jessie Adams.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, between 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Services are planned for Wednesday, December 28, at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church, Velma, with Pastor Kerry Glasgow officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Drew Langhofer, Rodney Eason, Trey Eason, Brad Eason, Blake Smith, Brad O'Steen, and Jason Lang. Interment will follow in the New Velma Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Velma Baptist Church "Falls Creek Fund" at PO Box 249, Velma, OK 73491.
