Greenfield - Andrew Jackson Swift, Sr., 82, former resident of Lattaville, Ohio, died at 1:45 A.M. Wednesday at the Greenfield Municipal Hospital.
He had been living with a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Isabelle) Long, 453 Evans St., Greenfield, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 2 P.M. Saturday at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield, Ohio with the Rev. Clyde Webster officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Greenfield, Ohio.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 P.M. Friday.
A native of Highland County, he was born on April 10, 1887, to Benjamin and Clara Smith Swift.
His wife, the former Myrtle Shinkle, died on June 7, 1969.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Louise) Bucy, Chillicothe, and Mrs. Long; sons; Andrew J. Jr., Frankfort, Samuel, Chillicothe, and Homer, Greenfield and Earl, Lattaville, 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a step brother, William Sanders, Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
He was predeceased by a son, a brother and three sisters.
Mr. Smith was a U. S. Army veteran of the Phillippine conflict prior to World War I.
