Leah-Anne (LaPelusa) Schnapp, age 66, died peacefully on December 5, 2022, in Columbus, OH. Born Feb. 14, 1956 in Bayonne, NJ, to the late Esther "Jewel" (Carver) and Thomas LaPelusa.

She was raised in Jersey City, NJ and then married her first husband and raising three children in North Bergen, NJ. Graduate of Jersey City State College with a degree in teaching, she taught children in public schools and was a Director of a Pre School for Churches. She was also a Paralegal with Payne Weber in Jersey City, NJ. A devout Christian, she lived a life for the Lord, as an active member of church communities including Mt. Effort, PA with her second husband until they moved to Grove City, Ohio. She dedicated her life to the church and her community, volunteering with helping others and serving the Lord. She continually prayed for all her family and friends and was a devoted member of Bible Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, reading, writing poetry/stories, and had two poems, a song and several recipes published.
