John ("Jay-Jay" as a small boy and then later called "Jay") was the Great-Grandson of John B. Prew that he is buried next to him here at St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. John was the first son of Peggy Jeanette Kerr and John Lewis Davis, older brother of Terry Lynn and Sherri Ann, David Neal, William Todd Davis, and James Lee Davis. "Jay's" mother, Peggy Christopher was murdered by her then father-in-law who had recently been released from the State Mental Hospital in Rusk, Texas at that time.
