Final Rites For Pvt. Starling At Antioch Church

Final rites for Pvt. Lee Starling of Graham, who was killed in action in France, August 23, 1944, will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Antioch Church near Lacrosse.

Pvt. Starling was born in Alachua County, February 11, 1911, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry O. Starling, of Graham. He was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church, and served overseas three years prior to his death.

Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. hazel Thomas of Hampton and Catherine Starling of Graham; two brothers, Clarence Starling of Graham and J.W. Starling of Clearwater.

Rev. Bob Gray of the Hampton Baptist Church will be the officiating minister, with arrangements in charge of DeWitt C. Jones. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post of Starke. The are requested to meet at the Starling home in Graham at 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
