Perry Oliver Starling, 68, a retired farmer of Graham, died last night in Alachua General Hospital after a brief illness.
A lifetime resdent of Bradford County, he was born April 14, 1890, in LaCrosse. His parents were the late John and Sallie Cauthern Starling.
Suvivors include his wife, Alice H. Starling; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Thomas of Hampton and Mrs. Catherine Dyal of Graham; one son J.W. Starling of Clearwater; four brothers, Russell and Harley Starling of Graham; Elllis Starling of Tampa and Guy Starling of Starke; two sisters; Mrs. Murry Osteen and Mrs. Viola Edmondson, both of Miami;and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3;30 p.m., Thursday at the Graham Baptist Church, of which Starling was a member. Rev. S.E. Sparks and Rev. Riley Bryant will officiate.Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. DeWitt C. Jones Funeral Home of Starke is in charge of arrangements.
