CALLED BY DEATH
Wife of Rancher of West Valley Summoned After Brief Illness.
Mrs. Katherine Niland died yesterday following a brief illness at her home, west of Anaconda.
The deceased became ill Monday with what was supposed to be a cold, and she was not confined to her bed. Friday a doctor was caleld to prescribe fro her and pronounced the case more serious, advising that she should be brought to Ananconda for treatment yesterday. During the night her condition became worse and the end came suddenly.
Mrs. Niland was born in Platt county, Neb., 38 years ago, and for the last 26 years has lived in or near Anaconda. She is survived by her husband, William Niland; three sons, Thomas, William and Edward, and a daughter, Louise. The body was brought to the Finnegan undertaking establishment and the funeral will be held from the chapel there, Monday with requiem high mass at St. Paul's church.
