Lavina Bucker, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Buckner, and Matilda Martha Evans, married Thomas J. Sellers of Delaware County, New York on 22 November 1869 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa, United States. To their union were born two sons, Edgar L. Sellers, and Charles Sellers. Per Thomas J. Sellers obituary, Lavina died in 1876, believed to be Wapello, Iowa, United States. It it believed she was interred in McCormick Cemetery, Highland Center, Wapello, Iowa, United States as her parents, and Thomas J. Sellers are interred there.
