Carole was born February 3, 1938, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Robert H. and Edna Ruth (Kennedy) Astle.

She was united in marriage to Tony Dyer. They later divorced.

Carole was a devoted homemaker. She had worked for the Reno County Courthouse and various banks.

Carole Dyer, 82, of Haven, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kelly (Lynette) Dyer and Mike (Karen) Dyer, both of Hutchinson; daughter, Linda (Art Allen) Dyer of Haven; five grandchildren, Randi, Jordan, Adryan, Bryce and Danielle; two great-granddaughters, Kaylynn and Rayna; brother, Michael (Sharon) Astle of Sun City, Arizona; and her dog, Dermott.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Laurel Cemetery, Haven, Kansas. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, at Ott Funeral Home, Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to Hutchinson Animal Shelter.
