Minnie M. (nee Lewis) Davis, age 86, passed away on May 28, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late James R. Davis, cherished mother of Janie (Alan) McComas and Jim (Carrie) Davis, proud Minty and Grandma of Shawn Ward, Sara Ward, Jim (Kristen) Davis, Jacob Davis, Peggy (Andy) McCarthy, Emily Rentschler, Luke (Lindsay) McComas, Ashley (Jason) Miller, and proud Great-grandma of Everly, Rosie, Belle, Mason, Brayden, Jonah, Tanner, Charlotte and Hattie, dear sister of Lillie Edwards, Pearl Root, Bessie Miller, Evelyn Whitt, Mary Bette Gregory, and Charlie (Mitzi) Lewis, and will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Minnie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Milford and retired from Avon Products. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gill and Ollie Lewis, a sister, Sophie Hampton and a brother, Walter Brown. The Davis family would like to thank The Danbury Senior Living staff and The OhioHealth Hospice staff, both in Columbus, for the excellent care given to Minnie. A Graveside Service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 12 NOON. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be directed in Minnie's honor to OhioHealth Hospice at foundation.ohiohealth.com.
