Roy Camden, 86-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO departed this life Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Camden was born February 22, 1933 in Ellington, MO to the late Esco and Mabel Turner Camden. Mr. Camden was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Roy had worked as a sawmiller, farmer, welder, and school bus driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, and had served with the Lean on Me Food pantry for over 20 years. He was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Camden was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Grubb; brothers, Lloyd and Allen Camden; and adolescent brothers, Clifford and Emmil.

On August 20, 1955, in Naylor, MO, he was married to Margaret A. (Marge) Saladin, who survives.

Also surviving are daughters Becky (Monty) York of Doniphan, MO and Dona Hulan of Poplar Bluff, MO; sisters Bonnie Malkowski and Erma Brooks of Willow Springs, MO; grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephanie, Christopher, Daniel, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, Kaylee, Camden, Levi, and Ryder.

Visitation for Mr. Roy Camden will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9:30-11 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 11:00 AM and burial with full military honors will be in the Pulaski Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lean on Me Food Pantry.
