A celebration of life service will be held at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home at 306 Glenwood Ave in Burlington on Saturday, February 22nd, from 9:30-11:00.
Peggy donated her body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program but friends and family are welcome to visit her gravestone site at Alamance Memorial Park following visitation.
Her friends at Warm Hearth Village wrote “the measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind.”
Peggy Amsden touched a lot of lives in meaningful ways and will be greatly missed by her surviving friends and family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
