Gracie Bell Holloway was surrounded by her loving family as she passed into Heaven on January 7, 2020 at the age of 91.



She was born December 18, 1928 in Rover, Arkansas to the late William Sherman & Dovie Levonia Gladden Blankenship. She was a member of the Rover Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family and friends unconditionally with all she had and she inspired that unconditional love into us. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 – And be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving one another. Just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis “Tee” Holloway; brother, Joe Blankenship; and sisters, Lucy Blankenship and Arlene Carpenter.



Survivors include her sons, William & Irma Holloway of Searcy; Carl & Kay Holloway of Houston; brothers, John Blankenship; Roy Blankenship; sisters, Gene Morrison of Rover; Ethel Reed all of Rover; grandchildren, Tim & Angel Holloway of Benton; Brooke Holloway of Dardanelle; Christy & David Marter of Benton; Brian Holloway of Rover; many great-grandchildren. Gracie is survived by a multitude of family and friends who will miss her greatly.



Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday 13, 2020 at the Rover Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Slape officiation. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church before the service. Burial will be at Hunt Chapel Cemetery in Rover.



Pallbearers include Fred Ornsbey, Nick Reed, Johnny Fowler, Ricky Reed, Carlton Walton, Tom McCool.

Honorary pallbearers include Sonny Lofland and Joe Dishongh.
