"Funeral services for Ananias Boone, of Karnack, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, in Karnack, with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Karnack, under direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Boone died Saturday, October 28, 1986, in Fort Worth. Born in Karnack, he was the son of Will and Adline Gregory Boone. He attended Harrison County public schools, was a retired laborer and was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, in Karnack. Survivors include his wife, Jennie T. Boone; three sons, Leeotis Boone, of Mansfield, Willie Joe Boone, of Karnack, and Alvin James Boone, of Fort Worth; one daughter, Alberta Thompson, of Hutchins; two brothers, Jessie Boone and James Boone, both of Karnack; three sisters, Willette Jones, Adline Robertson and Gladys Sullivan, all of Karnack; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren."
