Norma L. Sharp (Spahr, Nykodym), 85, passed away Dec. 20, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Feb. 6, 1931, in Overton, the daughter of Arthur and Gladys West. After graduation from Lexington High, she attended Lincoln Beauty School and met Burrell "Doc" Spahr (late). They married and raised their three children in Plymouth. Norma then married Ervin Nykodym (late) and moved to Clarkson where she enjoyed camping and traveling. Norma later returned to Lincoln, married Milton Sharp and continued to enjoy dancing and traveling. Norma was past president of the Neb. Veterinary Medical Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary, member of Clarkson Womens Club and Good Sam Camping Club, and a regular volunteer at the Clarkson Nursing Home.

Norma was also preceded in death by her son Stuart and sisters, Viola Pointer, Ruby Mathews, Jo Kroencke, and brothers, Arthur and Martin West. Norma will be dearly missed by her children, Carol (Mike) Wartman, Tharen (Chris) Spahr; step-children Sharon (Mike late) McNeil, Kathy (Jarett) Doernemann, David (Cathy) Sharp, Louise (Bob) Mooren, Julie (Joel) Young; and her 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday (12/27) at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home. Viewing: 12-8 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials to the Salvation Army. www.bmlfh.com
