LAKEVIEW - E. Hover Taylor, 86, formerly of here, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday in a Bellefontaine residence.
He was born June 1, 1896, in Stokes Township, Logan County, the son of William C. and Martha Ellen Hover Taylor. On Dec. 24, 1921, he married Florence Leona Fent, who died on Feb. 13, 1964.
Mr. Taylor was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Bellefontaine Senior Citizens.
Survivors include one son, Russell E. Taylor of Bonita Springs, Fla.; one daughter, Florence Ellen Hurley of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Van Horn Funeral Home, Lakeview, Rev. Charles Temple officiating. Burial will be in Plum Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
