Mrs. Clair J. Zumbrum

Catherine T. Lawrence Zumbrum, 49, wife of Clair J. Zumbrum, died Saturday afternoon at her home at Pleasant Hill, Hanover RD 2.
She was born in Centennial, a daughter of Leo J. and Estella Hufnagel Lawrence, Hanover RD 4.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the parish Council of Catholic Women. She was employed by Utz Potato Chip Co., and had attended Delone Catholic High School.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are four sons, Clair J. Zumbrum Jr., 294 South St.; Terry Lee Zumbrum, Abbottstown RD 1, and Ronald Zumbrum and Karl Zumbrum, both at home; a daughter, Darlene Zumbrum, at home; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mervin (Doris) Becker, Hanover RD 4; Mrs. Michael (Criselda) Klein, Littlestown RD 1; and Mrs. William (Leona) McIntyre, New Oxford RD 2, and a brother, Leo P. Lawrence, Hanover RD 4.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grandview Road. The assistant pastor of her church, the Rev. Augustine Giella, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Penn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening, where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be William McIntyre, Wayne McIntyre, James McIntyre, Brian McIntyre, Stephen McIntyre and Gerald McIntyre.
