Cemetery records indicate that JOSEPH GRUNTZ was buried at Section 17 Lot 92 on September 18, 1932.

The following article appeared in the Lockport Union Sun and Journal on Saturday September 17, 1932:

"Funeral services for Joseph Gruntz, 46, Harrison Radiator Corporation employe, who died Thursday evening, will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home, 73 Rogers avenue. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery.
Mr Gruntz came here in 1903 from Pittsburgh and had since been a resident of Lockport where he had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. He was a glass worker by trade and was employed for a number of years at the plant of the Lockport Glass Company, now the Thatcher Manufacturing Company.
For the past several years he was employed at the Harrison Radiator plant. He had been in failing health for several months with heart and kidney trouble. Recently he underwent two operations.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Gannon Gruntz, his father, Joseph K. Gruntz of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., two brothers and five sisters, William H. Gruntz of Lockport, and John D. Gruntz of Washington, Pa., Mrs. Anna L. Bobbs, Pittsburgh, Mrs. Laura M. Flowers, Waynesburg, Pa., Mrs. Wilda A. Lloyd, Newark, N, J, Mrs. Mae Homer, Indianapolis, Ind., and Miss Carolyn Gruntz of Mt. Pleasant, Pa."
