Gloria Curaza Muca Manalo 80, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Marian Medical Center on January 07, 2018. She was born April 25, 1937 in Santa Maria to Jacinto and Rosario Curaza.
Gloria attended El Camino and Santa Maria High School. In 1955, she married Theodore Muca. After his death (1995) re-married Donald Manalo in 2001. (Deceased in 2005)
She resided in both Northern and Southern California, returning to Santa Maria in 2015. The Loonanon Mutual Aid Association of California, and the Senior Citizen Association of Stockton were organizations of which she was a member.
Survivors include: Son, David M. Muca of Lakewood, Grandson, Tyler T. Muca & fiance, Great Grandson, Julian Muca of San Pedro, Sisters, Esperanza Lee (James), and Flora Reyes of Santa Maria, and Brother, Hank: Curaza of Los Osos. Many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto Curaza & Rosario Curaza Tullos. Sisters: Virginia Plaza, Helen Cole, Christina Curaza, Carolina Bisquera, Amparo Muca, and Corazon Curaza, and Brother Benjamin Curaza.
Known to her family, amazing circle of friends, and acquaintances as Auntie, Gloria, or GIo, she was never without a smile, laughter, or good comments to say about others. She enjoyed parties, music, and dancing. She will truly and dearly be missed.
Celebration of Mass will be held on January 23,2018 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 414 East Church St., Santa Maria.
Private inurnment will be held at a later date in the Memorial Garden of Dudley
Hoffman Columbarium.
